Pursuant to the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Member of Physiotherapy Board Appointed

Pursuant to section 4 of the Physiotherapy Act 1949, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
John Little Meney
to be a member of the Physiotherapy Board for a term of
three years from the 1st day of January 1955.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 9th day of December 1954.

Government Railways Appeal Board-Appointment of
Chairman

Pursuant to section 91 of the Government Railways Act
1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint
as a member and as Chairman of the Government Railways
Appeal Board, James Alexander Gilmour, of Christchurch,
Stipendiary Magistrate, to hold office from and including the
1st day of January 1955, to and including the 31st day of
December 1956.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 14th day of December 1954.

Appointment of Colonel-in-Chief in the New Zealand Army
Her Majesty the Queen has been pleased to approve the
following appointment in the New Zealand Army:

Lieutenant I. R. Jones to be temp. Captain whilst employed
as Adjutant, Disposals Org. Dated 8 November 1954.
THE ROYAL N.Z. ARMOURED CORPS
With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand
Gazette, 6 May 1954, No. 28, page 678, relative to the promotion
of Lieutenant J. W. Mawson to temp. Captain, for 'Dated
13 March 1954', substitute 'Dated 7 January 1954.'
TRANSFERS
The undermentioned officers are transferred from the Royal
N.Z. Artillery to the Royal N.Z. Army Service Corps with their
present rank and seniority:
