A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road closed:

0 0 1·4 Part Lot 3, L.T. 225, being part Section 7.
0 0 22·2 Lot 1, D.P. 4696, being part Section 7.
0 0 11·8 Lot 2, D.P. 4696, being part Section 7.
Situated in Block V, Winton Hundred, Southland R.D. (S.O. 6169.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145349 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of December 1954.

Land in the Borough of Mount Roskill Taken for Street Approach to the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street approach to the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:
A. R. P. Being
0 0 22·6 Lot 16, D.P. 38834; coloured blue.
0 0 38·6 Lot 10, D.P. 36743; coloured sepia.
Both being portions of Allotment 9, Section 13, Suburbs of Auckland.
All situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, Borough of Mount Roskill. (S.O. 38139.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12578 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waikato-Thames railway, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road diversion in connection therewith.

All in the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13154 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waikato County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 6·2 perches.
Being part Railway land in Proclamation 607.
Situated in Block XII, Komakorau Survey District, Waikato County. (S.O. 36786.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13154 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 22·7 perches.
Being railway land in Proclamation 13863, situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, Borough of Mount Roskill. (S.O. 38139.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12578 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
