Land and an Easement Over Land Taken for Water-supply
Purposes in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for water-supply purposes and shall vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from
the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also hereby proclaim
and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land
described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting as from the
date hereinafter mentioned in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the City of Wellington, full and free liberty, right,
license, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, erect,
inspect, renew, and maintain a pipe line under, along, and
across the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and
to use the said pipe line for the conveyance of water, such
easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the
First Schedule hereto, and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 24th day of December 1954.
FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 26 perches.
Being part Lot 5, D.P. 7258, being part Section 3, Porirua
District; coloured blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an easement
is taken: 0·18 perches.
Being part Lot 5, D.P. 7258, being part Section 3, Porirua
District; coloured orange.
All situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District, City of
Wellington. (S.O. 23173.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145293
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 17th day of December 1954.

Additional Land Taken for a Mental Hospital in Block XIV,
Christchurch Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for a mental hospital; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day
of December 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
2 roods 20·3 perches.
Being part Rural Section 145.
Situated in Block XIV, Christchurch Survey District, Canter-
bury R.D. (S.O. 8726.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145358
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 17th day of December 1954.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken, subject to the water rights over part of the said land
created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 110114, Auckland
Land Registry, for flood-control purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
24th day of December 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 589 acres
2 roods.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 28698, being part Allotment 245,
Waimana Parish.
Situated in Blocks II and V, Whakatane Survey District,
Auckland R.D. (S.O. 36690.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144908
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 17th day of December 1954.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto,
held by the Trustees, Executors, and Agency Company of New
Zealand Limited (estate of David Gordon Small), under and
by virtue of Occupation Licence No. 1615, National Endow-
ment Volume 335, folio 113, Otago Land Registry, is hereby
taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of
December 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which
the interest is taken: 3 roods 35·8 perches.
Being Section 7, formerly part Run 587.
Situated in Block XIII, Tiger Hill Survey District, Otago
R.D. (S.O. 11862.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144807 deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 20th day of December 1954.

this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day
of December 1954.

7·7 perches.
Being part land on D.P. 25919, being part Allotment 66,
Titirangi Parish.
Situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, City of
Auckland, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 38605.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145351
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured yellow.
