TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD AND TO CLOSE PORTIONS OF ROAD
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for a road and to close the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
A plan showing the land proposed to be taken and the portions of road proposed to be closed lies open to public inspection at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Cameron Road, Tauranga, during the forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
All persons objecting to the proposals must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the Council on or before the 24th day of January 1955.

GOLDEN BAY FISH COMPANY LIMITED
In the Supreme Court of New Zealand Nelson District (Nelson Registry)
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of Golden Bay Fish Company Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 3rd day of December 1954, presented to the said Court by Ivan Peter Talley, of Motueka, Fish Merchant, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on the 9th day of February 1955, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributary of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

Note.--Any person who intends to appear on the hearing of the said petition must serve on or send by post to the above named notice in writing of his intention so to do. The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person, or if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within three miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Nelson, and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner's address for service not later than 4 o'clock in the afternoon of the 8th day of February 1955.

KAITAIA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Kaitaia Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of six thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Kaitaia Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a fire engine and improving the existing fire station, the said Kaitaia Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and thirty hundredths of one penny in the pound (£1) on all rateable property of the Borough of Kaitaia; and that such a rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.'

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a new road, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
Notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the 15th day of December 1954, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Cameron Road, Tauranga.

9·5 perches, more or less, being part Maketu Section 81B, Block VI, Te Tumu Survey District, being part of the land comprised and described in Provisional Register, Volume 185, folio 132, Auckland Registry.

KAITUNA RIVER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Plant Loan 1954, £8,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Kaituna River Board hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £8,000, authorized to be raised by the Kaituna River Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a dragline excavator and ancillary equipment, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-two decimal five pence per acre on the whole of the rateable property in the Kaituna River District, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of eight years, or until the loan is fully paid off.'
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Kaituna River Board held on the 9th day of December 1954.
