Declaring Stopped Government Road in Block IV, Haurangi
Survey District, to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928,
the Minister of Works hereby declares the stopped
Government road described in the Schedule hereto to be
Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 20th day
of December 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of stopped Government road
declared Crown land: 6 acres and 29 perches.
Being Section 104 (formerly part Section 77), Wharekaka
Block, situated in Block IV, Haurangi Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District.

Road of the Wanganui County Council Confirmed Under
the By-laws Act 1910

THE following certificate has been executed on the sealed
copy of the by-law made by the Wanganui County
Council on the 10th day of November 1954.

above-written by-law and declare that the same came into

Special Arrangements for the Provision of Medical and
Pharmaceutical Services for the Residents of Te Whaiti
Special Area

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to section 82 of the
Social Security Act 1938 the Minister of Health has
made special arrangements by which all persons for the time
being resident in the district described in the Schedule
hereto are, on and after the 1st day of January 1955,
entitled to receive without charge at the hands of Allan
North, of Te Whaiti, Registered Medical Practitioner, all
such medical and pharmaceutical requirements as are pro-
vided as benefits in accordance with the Social Security
(Medical Benefits) Regulations 1941 and the Social Security
(Pharmaceutical Supplies) Regulations 1941.

SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of the Whakatane County lying to the south
of a line drawn from Tapiri in the south-west to Ponaua and
thence to Maungapohatu in the south-east.

Cancellation of Teachers' Certificate and Registration as
a Teacher

IT is hereby notified that the teacher's certificate and
registration as a teacher of Leslie George Tyndall Adams
are cancelled under the provisions of section 17 of the
Education Amendment Act 1924.
