Scheme of Control of Dargaville High School

Pursuant to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby approves of Dargaville High School being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools published at page 3451 of Volume III of the New Zealand Gazette of the year 1928:

Provided that—
(a) Clause 7 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if the words ‘the nearest borough within five miles of the school’ were omitted, and the words ‘the Borough of Dargaville or the County of Hobson’ were substituted therefor;
(b) Clause 8 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if the word ‘Town’ was omitted;
(c) Clause 11 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if the words ‘Such election shall be held in the first week of the month of May in the year 1929’ were omitted, and the words ‘The first such election shall be held on a date to be fixed by the Auckland Education Board, and subsequent elections shall be held in the first week of the month of May in the year 1957’ were substituted therefor;
(d) Clause 16 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if the word ‘Borough’ was omitted;
(e) Clause 19 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if every reference to the year 1929 were a reference to the year 1957;
(f) Clause 43 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if the words ‘The Secretary shall be insured under a fidelity bond for a sum of not less than five hundred pounds’ were omitted.

Declaring a Reserve to Form Part of Paroa Domain

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain subject to the provisions of the said Act to form part of the Paroa Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Cancelling the Vesting and Revoking the Reservation Over Reserves in Wellington Land District
