PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes of the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown
Railway.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 28·33 perches, more
or less, situated in the Borough of Mount Roskill, being part
Lots 8 and 9, D.P. 38834, being part Allotment 9, Section
13, Suburbs of Auckland, and being the balance of the land
comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1019, folio 207,
Auckland Registry.

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 357 of the Cook Islands Act 1915,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
takes the land described in the Schedule hereto for the
following public purpose, namely, administration buildings.
SCHEDULE
ALL the parcel of land situated in the District of Alofi in the
Island of Niue, Cook Islands, containing 1 acre 1 rood
29 perches, more or less, being the whole of the land known
as Maluaga No. 5, Section 57, Alofi District, and being all
the land comprised in an order of the Native Land Court
made on the 22nd day of June 1950 on investigation of title;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
signed by the Resident Commissioner of Niue and deposited
in the office of the Registrar, Native Land Court, Niue, under
No. 50.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Kawerau and Murupara
Townships Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares:
-
That as on and from the 1st day of January 1955 the
area of land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to
form part of the County of Whakatane and shall be a town
district. -
That the name of the said town district shall be the
Town District of Murupara. -
That the first election of members of the Town Board
of the said town district shall be postponed to a date to be
specified in a subsequent Order in Council.
SCHEDULE
TOWN DISTRICT OF MURUPARA
ALL that area of approximately 1,005 acres in the South
Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a
point in the middle of the Te Teko—Murupara Road in Block
XIII, Galatea Survey District, in line with the northern boundary of the part Karatia No. 3B 2A 2B Block, containing an
area of 62 acres and 24 perches, as shown on M.L. Plan 16698,
and running easterly along a right line to and along that
boundary, and along another right line, being that boundary
produced to the middle of the Rangitaiki River; thence south-
easterly generally up the middle of that river to a point in
line with the eastern side of the public road forming part of
the western boundary of the part Whirinaki No. 1 No. 2A Block
containing 84 acres and 3 roods, as shown on M.L. Plan 10446,
and along a right line to and along the said eastern side of
that public road to and north-easterly along the north-western
side of the Te Teko-Waiohau-Galatea Road, to the middle
of the Whirinaki River; thence again south-easterly up the
middle of the said Whirinaki River to a point in line with
the western boundary of Whirinaki No. 1 No. 2B Block;
thence southerly along a right line to and along that last-
mentioned boundary to a point in line with the southern
boundary of the part Whirinaki No. 1 No. 2 Block containing
5 acres, as shown on M.L. Plan 16166; thence westerly generally along a right line to and along that southern boundary,
and along another right line being that boundary produced
to the south-western side of the Rotorua—Waikaremoana State
Highway; thence north-westerly along that side of the said
highway, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section
20 of Block XIII aforesaid, to and along a series of right
lines parallel to and 895·46 links distant from the south-
western side of the aforesaid Rotorua—Waikaremoana State
Highway, to and along the northern boundary of Section 34
of the said Block XIII, and along another right line being
the western part of that northern boundary produced to the
middle of the Rangitaiki River aforementioned; thence northerly generally down the middle of that said river, to and
along the middle of the Rotorua—Waikaremoana State Highway aforesaid, to and along the middle of the Te Teko—
Murupara Road aforementioned, to the point of commencement.

Licensing Francis Oliver John Langton to Use and Occupy
a Part of the Foreshore at Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, as
a Site for a Store

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 7th day of
December 1954
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits
Francis Oliver John Langton, of Rawene, trading under the
style and title of T. P. Lane and Co. (hereinafter called the
licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different
construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore
below low-water mark at Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, as
shown on plan marked M.D. 6283, and deposited in the office
of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of
maintaining thereon a store as shown on the said plan, such
licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject
to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
-
This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall so
far as applicable apply hereto. -
The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from
the 1st day of December 1954. -
The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2), and the annual sum so payable, five pounds
(£5).
