Administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in Whangarei County (Notice No. Ag. 5788)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, the Director-General of Agriculture hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the Whangarei County Council on the 12th day of November 1954.
RESOLUTION
‘‘It was decided that Council should administer the Noxious Weeds Act in the Whangarei County as from 15 November 1954.’’

Plant Declared a Noxious Weed in the City of Wanganui (Notice No. Ag. 5789)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, the Director-General of Agriculture hereby publishes the following special order made by the Wanganui City Council on the 16th day of November 1954.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT a certain plant mentioned in the First Schedule to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, namely, water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), be and the same is hereby declared to be a noxious weed within the City of Wanganui, the boundaries whereof are defined in the New Zealand Gazette of the 3rd day of June 1954, No. 35, at pages 950 and 951.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the Borough of Feilding (Notice No. Ag. 5791)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Feilding Borough Council on the 22nd day of November 1954.
SPECIAL ORDER
IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereunder be and are hereby declared to be noxious weeds within the Borough of Feilding.
SCHEDULE
Bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis).
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus).
Boxthorn (Lycium ferocissimum syn. Lycium horridum).
Common broom (Cytisus scoparius).
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare).
Gorse (Ulex, any species).
Greater bindweed (Calystegia sepium).
Hemlock (Conium maculatum).
Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes).
