MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its
amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Matamata County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Act, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for
road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing
the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the public
office of the Clerk of the above Council, situated at Tirau,
and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons
during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the taking of the said land who
have any objections thereto must state their objections in
writing, and lodge the same at the office of the County Clerk
within forty days from the date of publication of this notice.

tautari No. 2 Block.

County of Matamata and Land Registration District of
Auckland, and shown on S.O. Plan 35196, coloured respectively
blue and blue, edged blue.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, and
every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Rotorua
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000), to
be known as Workers' Dwellings Loan 1954, £30,000,
authorized to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under
the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting or
purchasing workers' dwellings, the said Rotorua County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-
nineteenth of a penny (1/19d.) in the pound (£) on the
rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all
rateable property in the County of Rotorua; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until such loan
is fully paid off.'
The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of
the Rotorua County Council held on the 16th day of
November 1954.

Members' Voluntary Winding-up

of R. B. Seabrook (Cambridge) Limited (in liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of members of
the above-named company, held on the 16th day of
November 1954, the following special resolution was passed:
'That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Ivan
Walter Litchwark, of Cambridge, Garage Proprietor, be and
is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such
winding-up.'

'That the company be wound up voluntarily and that

hereby appointed liquidator.'

MARLBOROUGH ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Development Loan 1954, £90,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and
its amendments, and of all other powers it thereunto enabling,
the Marlborough Electric Power Board hereby resolves as
follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of
the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's
Development Loan 1954, of ninety thousand pounds (£90,000),
authorized to be raised by the Marlborough Electric Power
Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
supplying and distributing electricity for the benefit of the
Marlborough Electric Power District and for such purpose
to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board
is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925
and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities
it enabling, the Marlborough Electric Power Board hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and forty-six
thousandths of one penny (0·146d.) in the pound (£1) upon
the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all
rateable property in the Marlborough Electric Power District,
such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the
lst day of November in each and every year, being a period
of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.'
Public notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the
Marlborough Electric Power Board, held on the 16th day of
November 1954, the above resolution was duly passed.

NOTICE OF VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP
NOTICE is hereby given in terms of section 222 of the
Companies Act 1933 that on the 17th day of November
1954 a resolution was passed by Clarke's Stores Limited that
the company be wound up voluntarily by the members thereof.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Fairlie Water Supply Augmentation Loan
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Mac-
kenzie County Council hereby resolves as follows:
'That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorized to be raised
by the Mackenzie County Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the Fairlie Water Supply Augmentation Scheme, the
said Mackenzie County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of 0·24 pence in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property of the Fairlie Water Supply and
Sewerage Special Rating Area comprising that portion of the
Mackenzie County as described in the Schedule hereunder; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the
31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.'
