Supplementary Lists of Names Added to Teachers' Register
THE following supplementary lists of names added to the Teachers' Register since the 19th day of October 1954 are published by the Director of Education pursuant to section 15 of the Education Amendment Act 1924. The names are arranged in two lists as follows:
(a) Additions to the Register or amendments in grading as a result of correction or change of status.
(b) Post-primary classification.

Classification of Roads in Hokianga County
PURSUANT to subclause (10) of regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950 (as substituted by regulation (4) (1) of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950, Amendment No. 8), the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 27th day of April 1951* in so far as it applies to the classification in Class Four of roads described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the Hokianga County Council's proposed classification of roads as set out in the Schedule hereto.

Introduction of Nursery Stock Authorized (Notice No. Ag. 5780)
PURSUANT to subclause (2) of regulation 22 of the Plant Quarantine Regulations 1952, the Director of the Horticulture Division of the Department of Agriculture hereby authorizes the introduction into New Zealand without a permit under the said subclause of the nursery stock described in the Schedule herefo.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor Spirit
G. R. Skinner, 23 Liverpool Street, Palmerston North, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed service-station and garage premises at Main Highway, Motuopa Bay, Lake Taupo.
A. B. Burrowes, Main North Road, Kaiapoi, R.M.D., has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on service-station and garage premises at Main North Road, Kaiapoi, R.M.D.
R. and L. Williams, 42 Frost Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland, have applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 42 Frost Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland.
W. M. Rimmer, Empire Street, Cambridge, has applied for permission to change the retail selling point of one pump from Empire Street, Cambridge, approximately 600 yards to stand on new garage premises at Cook Street, Leamington.
Star Garage Ltd., Commerce Street, Kaitaia, has applied for permission to change the retail selling point of two pumps from present site at Commerce Street, Kaitaia, to stand on new garage premises at corner of Melba and Matthews Streets, Kaitaia.
Kurow Motor Garage and Service Co. Ltd., Main Street, Kurow, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump, after normal trading hours, at milk bar and tea rooms of J. Fyfe, Kurow.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 9 December 1954, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Te Arawa Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 28 July 1936 and published in the Gazette on 20 August 1936, page 1622.
