NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND CLOSE ROAD


NOTICE is hereby given that the Waiapu County Council, acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes to take for road the land described in the First Schedule hereto and to close certain road adjacent as described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Plans of the said lands and road to be closed are deposited at the Council’s offices at Te Puia and at the offices of Messrs Nolan and Skeet, Childers Road, Gisborne, and are open for inspection by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of such works who have any well-grounded objection thereto must state their ground of objection in writing and deliver the same to the Clerk of the Waiapu County Council at Te Puia within forty days from the first publication of this notice.
