Town and Country Planning Act 1953—County of Hutt

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, approval has been granted to the Hutt County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by sections—namely, the defined areas described in the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

RURAL ZONE SECTION

ALL that area in the County of Hutt bounded as follows: commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the County of Hutt, as described in New Zealand Gazette 1945, page 389, being also the intersection of the western boundary of the North Island Main Trunk Railway with the middle of the Waikanae River; thence proceeding in a southerly direction along that western boundary to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Mauapoko B; thence south-easterly to and along that south-western boundary and the crossing of the Levin-Paekakariki State Highway to the eastern side of that highway; thence southerly along that eastern side and the eastern side of Ruahine Street in the Town of Paraparaumu to the northern boundary of Lot 4 on the plan numbered 669 deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington; thence easterly along that northern boundary and southerly along the eastern boundaries of Lots 4 and 5 on the plan numbered 669 aforesaid to the south-eastern corner of Lot 5 aforesaid; thence southerly along a right line to the most southern corner of the land delineated on the plan numbered S.O. 19637 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington; thence southerly generally along the western boundary of the land on the plan numbered 11423 deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, to the southern boundary of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 11423 aforesaid; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 3450 deposited as aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2 aforesaid and its production to the eastern side of the Levin-Paekakariki State Highway; thence southerly generally along that eastern side to a point in line with the southern side of Poplar Avenue; thence to and along that southern side to the northern boundary of Lot 15 on the plan numbered 5751 deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly and southerly generally along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of Lot 15 aforesaid and Lot 17 on the aforesaid plan numbered 5751 to the northern boundary of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 3093 deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly along that northern boundary and its production to the sea-coast; thence southerly along the western boundary of the County of Hutt, described as aforesaid, to the northern boundary of the Paekakariki Riding of the County of Hutt, as described in New Zealand Gazette 1950, pages 730 and 731; thence easterly, southerly, north-westerly generally along the northern, eastern, and south-western boundaries of the Paekakariki Riding described as aforesaid, to the sea-coast; thence south-westerly along the sea-coast to the eastern boundary of the Taupo Riding of the County of Hutt, as described in New Zealand Gazette 1950, pages 730 and 731; thence southerly generally along that eastern boundary to the northern shore of Porirua Harbour; thence easterly, southerly, and westerly generally along the northern, eastern, and southern shores of Porirua Harbour to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 94, Porirua District; thence to and along that boundary to the southern boundary of that Section; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections 94, 95, 96, and 97, Porirua District, to the most southern corner of the last-mentioned Section; thence easterly and southerly along the western boundary of the County of Hutt, described as aforesaid, to the northern boundary of Section 331, Hutt District; thence easterly along that northern boundary to the eastern boundary of part Section 331, Hutt District, being the western boundary of the land taken for defence purposes by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette 1950, page 171; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of the land taken for defence purposes and described in New Zealand Gazette 1950, page 171, and the production of the southern boundary of part Section 323, Hutt District, described therein, across a public road, again along the southern boundary of part Section 323 aforesaid and its production across a public road to the western boundary of Section 324, Hutt District;
