(a) Mikotahi Point Light.
Chart 2535: Insert the following:
(1) On plan “New Plymouth or Taranaki Road”—
(i) A small circle marked “Sig. Stn.” 144° 0·75 cables
from (a).
(ii) A small circle marked “Sig. Staff” 095° 3·2 cables
from (a) at seaward end of Newton King Wharf.
(2) On plan “New Plymouth Wharves”, a small circle
marked “Sig. Staff” at the seaward end of Newton King
Wharf.
The reference to tel. and sig. station on Mikotahi Head
is to be expunged.
The signal station at the end of Mutoroa Wharf and
the signal staff on Mikotahi Head have been dismantled.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under
Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor Spirit
M. G. Bailey, 76 Wheturangi Road, Auckland, has applied
for a licence to resell motor spirit from three pumps to be
installed on proposed service-station and garage premises at
corner of Great South and Southdown Roads, Auckland.

A. B. Allen and R. A. Sievers, Main Road, Tokomaru,
have applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one
pump to be installed on service-station and garage premises
at Main Road, Tokomaru.

E. and P. G. Bell, Whangaehu, have applied for a licence
to resell motor spirit from two pumps to be installed on
service-station premises at Whangaehu.

E. F. Cooper Ltd., 107 East Coast Road, Milford,
Takapuna, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit
from one pump, to be installed on garage premises at 107
East Coast Road, Milford, Takapuna.

Tully’s Rental Cars Ltd., 7 Pretoria Street, Lower Hutt,
has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one
pump to be installed at rental-car premises at 7 Pretoria
Street, Lower Hutt, sales to be restricted to hirers of the

for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be
installed at new garage and car show-room premises at

J. C. Parsons, Waipu Cove, Northland, has applied for
a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed
on store premises at Waipu Cove, Northland.

Mrs C. Morris, corner Woburn Road and Ward Street,
Lower Hutt, has applied for permission to change the retail
selling point of nine pumps from service-station premises at
corner of Woburn Road and Ward Street, Lower Hutt, approxi-
mately 150 ft. distant to stand on new service-station
premises at corner of Woburn Road and Market Street,
Lower Hutt.

J. G. Ingram, 14–16 Bridge Street, Nelson, has applied
for permission to change the retail selling point of one pump
from garage and service-station premises at 14–16 Bridge
Street, Nelson, 105 ft. distant to the adjoining section in
Bridge Street, Nelson.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to
be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of
Industry on these applications should, not later than 11
November 1954, submit any written evidence and representa-
tions they may desire to tender. All communications should

Supplementary Lists of Names Added to Teachers’ Register

THE following supplementary lists of names added to the
Teachers’ Register since the 17th day of September 1954 are
published by the Director of Education pursuant to section 15 of
the Education Amendment Act 1924. The names are arranged in
two lists as follows :

(a) Additions to the Register or amendments in grading as a
result of correction or change of status,
(b) Post-primary classification.
