Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in Otago Land District

URSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation for a reserve for a public cemetery over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in the North Auckland Land District

URSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation for a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Glen Eden Borough Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions, as the Borough Council shall determine, the proceeds of any such sale to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other land vested in the Council for recreation purposes.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the City of Wellington for Housing Purposes

OTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Chief Post Office at Wellington, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 7·6 perches.

Being part Town Section 188, City of Wellington, being part of the land shown on D.P. 150 as Percival Street, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 17, folio 164, Wellington Land Registry.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144803 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

URSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 1 December 1936 and published in the Gazette on 10 December 1936, at page 2408.
