LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, and the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be direct current at a normal rated pressure of 230 volts.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1975, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric Power Board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply prescribed in these presents, leading in a southerly direction from the licensee’s generator situated in part Lot 270 on D.P. 7675, Block IV, Kawau Island Survey District, in Kawau Island, to a pole; thence in a westerly direction to the licensee’s club house. All being situated in part Lot 270 aforesaid. The said lines being more particularly delineated by means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 287 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 27th day of October 1954
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes Deryck Robert Heays, James Sydney Knight, and Bert Henry Hodder, all of Ruakituri Valley, Farmers (hereinafter referred to as the licensees), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

- Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1975, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric Power Board or some other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensees’ generator, situated in Section 8, Block IX, Hangaroa Survey District, in the County of Cook, and proceeding as follows:
(a) In a northerly direction to a residence situated in the said Section 8.
(b) In a north-westerly direction to a pole situated in the said Section 8 with branch lines leading as follows:
(1) In a north-easterly direction to a residence situated in Section 10, Block IX, aforesaid.
(2) In a westerly direction to a residence situated in Section 9, Block IX, aforesaid.
The said lines being more particularly shown by means of blue lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 258 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
LICENCE

This order may be cited as the Wairere Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1954.

Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Wairere Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) is hereby authorized to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines and to construct the electric works described in the First Schedule hereto.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (j) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The system of supply authorized under paragraph (j) aforesaid shall be a single-conductor earth-return system. The use of the earth-return system of supply shall be subject to such terms and conditions as are from time to time laid down by the General Manager of the State Hydro-electric Department.

The electric lines and electric works described in paragraphs (a) and (b) of the First Schedule hereto shall not be used by the licensee for the purpose of supply to any retail consumer outside the Wairere Electric Power District.

This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 6th day of October 1966.

The Order in Council dated the 6th day of October 1924 and published in the Gazette on the 9th day of the same month, authorizing the licensee to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to use certain electric lines, as amended by the Order in Council dated the 9th day of June 1939 and published in the Gazette on the 15th day of the same month, at page 1809, and further amended by the Order in Council dated the 17th day of September 1947 and published in the Gazette on the 25th day of the same month, at page 1375, is hereby revoked in so far as it authorizes the licensee to use electric lines, but not in so far as it authorizes the licensee to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

The Orders in Council specified in the Second Schedule hereto authorizing the licensee to lay, construct, put up, place, and use certain electric lines, are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the systems of supply hereinbefore described:
(a) Leading from the State Hydro-electric Department’s substation at Ongarue in a north-westerly direction to the southern boundary of the Wairere Electric Power District as at present constituted, the said lines being shown by means of a red line on the plan marked S.H.D. 303 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
(b) Leading from the lines described in the last-preceding paragraph at a point in part 61c, Section 3, Block VIII, Aria Survey District, in a north-easterly direction to the southern boundary of the Wairere Electric Power District as at present constituted, the said lines being shown by means of a blue line on plan S.H.D. 303 aforesaid.
(c) Within the Wairere Electric Power District as defined in the Third Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 15th day of September 1952 and published in the Gazette on the 18th day of the same month, at page 1513.
