A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 15 perches. Adjoining or passing through Reserve 4702.
Situated in Block VI, Bealey Survey District, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8659.)
In the Canterbury Land District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144685 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of October 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 13·2 perches.
Adjoining Lot 1, D.P. 2882, being part Pukahu Agricultural Section 51, and closed road on D.P. 809.

Closed Road Added to an Endowment in the County of Clutha

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection 5 of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land being closed road described in the Schedule hereto to be added to the Lower Clutha River Trust Endowment, of which Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13, Block VIII, Section 9, Block IX, and Section I, Block X, Kuriwao Survey District, adjoining the land described in the said Schedule, form a part.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of closed road: 26 acres 3 roods 32 perches.
Being Section 14, Block VIII, Section 23, Block IX, and Sections 6 and 7, Block X, Kuriwao Survey District (formerly Section 1408R). (S.O. 2672.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144517 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Foreshore Licence—Bay of Islands—Otehei Bay—Wharf Site—Otehei Bay Company Limited

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of October 1954
Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits the Otehei Bay Company Limited, of Auckland (hereinafter called the company, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy that part of the foreshore at Otehei Bay, in the Bay of Islands, as a site for a wharf, as shown on plan marked M.D. 6248 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby prescribes that the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the company for the use of the said wharf.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of October 1954.
  3. The premium payable by the company shall be two pounds (£2), and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).
  4. The master of every vessel loading at the said wharf shall discharge all ballast above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved of by the Minister, or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.
    SECOND SCHEDULE
    FEES AND RATES
    Every person landing on or embarking on a ship from the said wharf shall pay to the company the sum of 3d. per head.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of October 1954
Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits David Daniel McPike and Angus Vincent McPike, of Auckland (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their executors, administrators, and assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Duck Creek Road, Weiti River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9739 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a jetty thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
