Land Taken for a Cemetery in Block I, Maungataniwha Survey District, Mangonui County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a cemetery and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Mangonui as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of October 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods.
Being part Allotment N. 35, Oruru Parish.
Situated in Block I, Maungataniwha Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 38173.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144506 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of October 1954.
