SECOND SCHEDULE
ROADS DISTRICT NO. 2B

Paeroa–Whakatane.—All those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Waihi, commencing at the western boundary of the said borough at the Waitete Bridge, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly and then south-easterly direction via Seddon Avenue, Rosemont Road, and Tauranga Road, and terminating at the south-eastern boundary of the said borough at the right bank of the Ohinemuri River, being a distance of 1 mile 76 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on P.W.D. 143840 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that road or portion of road now within the Ohinemuri County and formerly in the Borough of Waihi, commencing at the south-eastern boundary of the said borough at the right bank of the Ohinemuri River and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction via Tauranga Road to its junction with the Paeroa–Whakatane Main Highway at the old borough boundary, being a distance of 1 mile 16 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 143840 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Waihi Beach.—All that road or portion of road in the Ohinemuri County, commencing at its junction with the Paeroa–Whakatane Main Highway at the north-western corner of Section 16, Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and northerly direction via Beach Road, and terminating at a point opposite the north-western corner of Section 1, Block V, Waihi Beach Township, being a distance of 5 miles 39 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plans P.W.D. 83106 and P.W.D. 143840 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue and red respectively.

Coroglen–Waihi via Whangamata.—All that road or portion of road now within the Ohinemuri County and formerly in the Borough of Waihi, commencing at its junction with the Coroglen–Waihi via Whangamata Main Highway at the north-eastern boundary of the old borough boundary and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and a southerly direction via Oldfield Road and Walmsley Road, and terminating at the northern boundary of the said borough at a point opposite the north-eastern corner of Section 445A, Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 143840 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured grey.

Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Borough of Waihi, commencing at the northern boundary of the said borough at a point opposite the north-eastern corner of Section 445A, Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction via Walmsley Road and Kenny Street, and terminating at its junction with the Paeroa–Whakatane Main Highway at Rosemont Road, being a distance of 1 mile 12 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 143840 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

ROADS DISTRICT NO. 7

Opunake Beach.—All those roads or portions of roads in the Borough of Opunake, commencing at the intersection of Havelock Street with South Road (New Plymouth–Hawera via Opunake Main Highway) and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction by way of Havelock Street and Beach Street, and terminating near the south-eastern corner of Section 6, Block XLVII, being a distance of 36 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 144094 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Wright Grove in the Hutt County to be County Road

At the Government House at Wellington this 6th day of October 1954

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE

ALL that road in the Wellington Land District, Hutt County, commencing at its junction with Mira Street and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction for a distance of five chains, adjoining Sections 21 and 22, Town of Paekakariki Extension No. 23, and Sections 1 to 12, inclusive, Town of Paekakariki Extension No. 26, situated in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144536 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Jays Road in the Rotorua County to be County Road

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of Jays Road in the South Auckland Land District, situated in Block X, Paeroa Survey District, Rotorua County, commencing on the western side of the Rotorua–Taupo State Highway at the southern corner of Section 1 of the aforesaid Block X, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 75 chains, and terminating at the westernmost corner of Section 3 of the aforesaid Block X. (S.O. 35760.)

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144571 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

The Eastern Side of Portion of Churton Street and the Northern Side of Portion of Farnham Street, in the City of Auckland, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 6th day of October 1954

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the 13th day of April 1954, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the sides and portions of streets described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

THE Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the eastern side of part of Churton Street and the northern side of part of Farnham Street fronting the proposed subdivision of part Allotment 66, Section 1, Suburbs of Auckland, and being all the land contained and described in certificate of title, Volume 505, folio 212, Auckland Registry.

SECOND SCHEDULE

THE eastern side of all that portion of street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Churton Street, fronting Lot 18, D.P. 21246, being part Allotment 66, Section 1, Suburbs of Auckland.

Also the northern side of all that portion of street in the said land district and city, known as Farnham Street, fronting Lot 18 and part Lot 17, D.P. 21246, being part Allotment 66, Section 1, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144519 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
