A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described
in the Second Schedule hereto.

All in the Otago Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144544 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

this 30th day of September 1954.

Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim as closed the portions of road described in the First
and Second Schedules hereto.

perches.

perches.

Being road in Proclamation No. 1803, Taranaki Land

Registry, being formerly part Section 30; coloured yellow.

All situated in Block XIII, Ngaere Survey District,

Taranaki R.D. (S.O. 7819.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more

particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103740
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Blocks II and III, Piako Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Paeroa–Pokeno Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
