Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

PART Lot 9, Deposited Plan No. 39769, being part Allotment 255, Waikomiti Parish, situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District: Area, 2 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 1054, folio 242. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/1r, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 37281.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of September 1954.

Additional Land Near Otatau Taken for the Purposes of the Western Railways

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Western Railways.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 22·9 perches.

Being part Riverton – Otatau – Nightcaps Main Highway.

Situated in Block I, Aparima Hundred, Wallace County. (S.O. 5955.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11291, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of September 1954.
