Land Taken for Housing Purposes in Block X, Maungatautari Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of September 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being part Section 39, Tautari Settlement.
Situated in Block X, Maungatautari Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 36710).
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144332 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject as to Part Lot 14, D.P. 4935, to the drainage easement granted by Memorandum of Transfer No. 50453, Nelson Land Registry, and subject to notice as to building line restriction No. K.2888, Nelson Land Registry, to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, subject to the aforesaid easement and restriction.
