Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Lot 22, Deposited Plan No. S. 1349, being part eastern portion of Hararahi No. 1 Block, situated in Block XIII, Ohinemuri Survey District: Area, 3 roods 4-6 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 911, folio 51.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of September 1954.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of September 1954.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation Taking Land for Soil-conservation and River-control Purposes in Blocks XIII, XIV, and XV, Waipukurau Survey District, Waipawa and Waipukurau Counties

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 9th day of August 1948 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 44 of the 12th day of the same month, at page 996, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier as No. 2105, taking land for soil-conservation and river-control purposes in Blocks XIII, XIV, and XV, Waipukurau Survey District, Waipawa and Waipukurau Counties, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Mangahao scheme).

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:

1 acre and 16-4 perches.

Being part Section 55, Left Bank Wanganui River, and being the land in Proclamation 1521.

Situated in Block VI, Ikitara Survey District. (S.O. 1929.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62527 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of September 1954.

Additional Land Taken for the Undertaking of the Wairakei Hotel in Block XIV, Tatua Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the undertaking of the Wairakei Hotel, being a public work constituted under section 29 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, by an Order in Council dated the 18th day of December 1946; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of September 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:

5-2 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. S.1209, being part Wairakei Block, and part Section 4, Block XIV, Tatua Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 679, folio 196, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of September 1954.
