NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act 1933, that on the 17th day of August 1954 the following special resolution was duly passed by the members of the above-named company, namely:
‘‘1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
‘‘2. That Mr Trevor Lewis Gick, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.’’

THE liquidator of Fashions and Fabrics Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 10th day of September 1954 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 16th day of August 1954, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:
‘‘1. That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
‘‘2. That John Joseph Hall, of Dunedin, Public Accountant, be nominated as liquidator of the company.’’

BOROUGH OF TAKAPUNA
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Takapuna Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 17th day of August 1954, has resolved to prepare for the Borough of Takapuna a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The scheme may deal with any of the following matters as in the circumstances are appropriate:
- The zoning or definition of areas to be used exclusively or principally for specified purposes or classes of purposes.
- The preservation of objects and places of historical interest or natural beauty.
- The designation of reserves and proposed reserves for national, civic, cultural, and community purposes, for afforestation and water catchment purposes, for recreation grounds, ornamental gardens, parks, and children’s playgrounds, and for open spaces.
- The designation of open spaces for purposes of value to the community on land not intended to be owned by the Council.
- Public access from place to place, car parks, transport terminals, aerodromes, and public transport systems, including their creation, establishment, closing, removal, alteration, and diversion; traffic routing; the co-ordination of street widths with land uses and population densities; off-street provision for vehicles while being loaded or unloaded or standing; the fixing of building lines in relation to highways.
- Sewerage, drainage, and sewage and rubbish disposal.
- Lighting and water supply.
- Buildings, with particular reference to:
(a) Their position on allotment and in relation to any highway and to other buildings.
(b) Their density, use, character, height, and harmony in design and external appearance.
(c) Verandas in commercial streets.
(d) Open space about buildings.
(e) The fixing of building lines for amenity and other purposes. - Provision and preservation of amenities, including regulation and control of outdoor advertising displays.
- Control of subdivision, including restraint upon unnecessary encroachment of urban development upon land of high actual or potential value for production of food.
- Land subdivisional standards in relation to any permitted use.
- Minimum site areas and dimensions in relation to uses of land and buildings.
- Ancillary or consequential works and all other matters involving the principles of town and country planning.
Every owner and occupier of property within the Borough of Takapuna, and every local authority adjoining or having jurisdiction within the Borough of Takapuna, is hereby invited to submit in respect of the above matters suggestions which, in his or their opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Suggestions marked ‘‘Borough of Takapuna District Scheme’’ should be addressed to the Town Clerk, and delivered to the Town Clerk’s office, Lake Road, Takapuna, Auckland N.2, on or before the 19th day of October 1954.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute certain public works (to wit, the deviation of a road), for which purpose the lands described in the Schedule hereto require to be taken for road by the Waikato County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, sections 22 and 23.
A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the office of the Waikato County Council, Grey Street, Hamilton East.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Waikato County Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
