Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Otago Land
Districts, Vested in the Auckland and Otago Education
Boards as Sites for Public Schools, to be Vested in
Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained
in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time,
by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a
school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that
purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the
school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in
Her Majesty freed and discharged from every educational
trust affecting the same but subject to all leases, encumbrances,
liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the
Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5
of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland
Education Board, and the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Otago Education
Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her
Majesty the Queen freed and discharged from every educational
trust affecting the same but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements, affecting the same at the
date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Allotment 83, Owhiwa Parish, situated in Block XIV,
Whangarei Survey District: Area, 1 acre, more or less. All
certificate of title, Volume 549, folio 95.

SECOND SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
SECTIONS 19 and 20, Block XVI, Town of Palmerston:
Area, 2 roods, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing
Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles
Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in
the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act
1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the
Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
LOTS 7 and 9, Deposited Plan No. 17098, being part Section 36,
Hutt District, situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District:
Area, 1 acre and 22.06 perches, more or less. Part certificate
of title, Volume 539, folio 78.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 19th day of August 1954.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Taihape

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day
of August 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart:
3 roods 21.97 perches.
Being Lots 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, D.P. 15340, being part
Section 77, Taihape Village Settlement, and being part of
the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 524, folio 296 (Wellington Registry).
Situated in Block XIV, Ohine-wairua Survey District,
Borough of Taihape.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 8th day of August 1954.
