The rates scheduled in regulation 69 will be increased as follows:
Classes C, C plus 20%, C plus 50%, D, E, E plus 25%, E plus 50%, F,G,
H, M, Q, and R
Class N—
1 to 5 miles
6 to 80 miles
Exceeding 80 miles
Class P—
1 to 28 miles
Exceeding 28 miles

For each additional 15 miles or fraction thereof beyond 690 miles will be added : 54d.
- Small-lots Charges
Paragraph 1, subparagraphs (a) and (b):
The charges shown in these subparagraphs will be increased by up to 10 per cent.
The rates and charges set out in regulations 72 to 135 inclusive, with the exceptions indicated hereafter, will be increased by up to 7 per cent.
- Class E
Paragraph 3 : Omit this paragraph, and substitute the following:
- Handling and Tallying.—The Department may require all loading, unloading, or tallying to be performed by the owners. Where loading, unloading, or tallying is performed by the Department, the following charges will be made:

Exceptions : Except in the case of handling at ship's side, no charge will be made for loading, unloading, or tallying when goods are charged at Class E plus 25 or 50 per cent.
- Class H
Paragraph 2 : No alteration is made to the charge referred to in this paragraph.
