Revoking in Part a Proclamation Taking Additional Land
Near Frankton Junction for the Purposes of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke so much
of the Proclamation dated the 28th day of February 1948,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year,
at page 241, taking additional land near Frankton Junction
for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway as affects
the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 4 acres 3 roods
11·2 perches.
Being part Railway land in Proclamation 12307.
Situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District, City
of Hamilton. (S.O. 36642.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12894,
deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Com-
mission at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 3rd day of August 1954.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the Sockburn-Styx Railway.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being Lot 23, D.P. 338, being part Rural Section 1226, situated
in Blocks IX and X, Christchurch Survey District, and
being the balance of the land comprised and described in
certificate of title, Volume 510, folio 108 (Canterbury
Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 6th day of August 1954.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 15
of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional
land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
State forest purposes; and I also declare that this Proclama-
tion shall take effect on and after the 16th day of August
1954.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
10 acres and 7 perches.
Being Section 40, Block I, Paterson Survey District, and being
the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate
of title, Volume 18, folio 25 (Southland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of
August 1954.

2 roods 0·4 perches.
Being Section 94, Town of Lepperton, as shown on a plan
deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at New
Plymouth as No. 5525, and being the whole of the land
comprised and described in Deeds Index, Volume I 7, folio
191 (Taranaki Land Registry).
Situated in Block VII, Paritutu Survey District.

for the purposes of a public school (teacher's residence); and
I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 16th day of August 1954.

17·9 perches.
Being part Lot 6, D.P. 35666, being part Paturau Block.
Situated in Block III, Whitianga Survey District (Auck-
land R.D.). (S.O. 36668.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
143976, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
