NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth:

Public Trust Office—Establishment of Local District of Otahuhu, and Alteration of Local District of Auckland
WHEREAS by section 2 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act 1921–22 it is enacted that the Public Trustee may, by notice in the Gazette, from time to time establish and define, abolish, alter, and reconstitute local districts for the purposes of the said Act:
And whereas in pursuance of the said power a notice establishing and defining (inter alia) the local district to be controlled by the District Public Trustee for Auckland was published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 13th day of April 1922, and notices altering that district have been published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 19th day of November 1925, the 11th day of September 1930, and the 4th day of December 1930:
And whereas it has become expedient to establish a local district, to be known as the Otahuhu District, to consist of part of the lands formerly included in the said local district of Auckland.
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the said section 2, I, George Edward Turney, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, as from the 9th day of August 1954, establish the local district to be controlled by the District Public Trustee for Otahuhu, and alter and reconstitute the local district controlled by the District Public Trustee for Auckland, for the purposes of the said Act, as follows:
Local District of Otahuhu
The district comprises the County of Franklin and those portions of the Raglan and Waikato counties lying to the north of a line commencing at the mouth of the Kaawa Stream on the west coast and drawn to the Rangiriri Railway Station, and thence following the railway line to Te Kauwhata, and from there proceeding to the junction of the Te Kauwhata-Thames Road and the Morrisville (Tahuna)-Auckland Road; thence along the eastern boundary of the Waikato County to its junction with the Franklin County; and that area of the Manukau County south of a line commencing at the western end of Sylvia Park Road; thence proceeding easterly along Sylvia Park Road, northerly along Mount Wellington Highway, easterly along Waipuna Road to the Tamaki River, thence to and up the middle of Tamaki River and Pakuranga Creek to a point in line with the middle of Cascade Road; thence easterly along Cascade Road, southerly along Botany Road to the East Tamaki-Howick Road; thence north-easterly along that road to its junction with the main Howick and Whitford Road; thence south-easterly along that road to the middle of the Maungamaungaroa Creek; thence down the middle of that creek to its mouth.
Local District of Auckland
The district comprises the counties of Rodney, Waitemata, and Eden, and that portion of the Manukau County north of a line commencing at the western end of Sylvia Park Road; thence proceeding easterly along Sylvia Park Road, northerly along Mount Wellington Highway, easterly along Waipuna Road to the Tamaki River; thence to and up the middle of Tamaki River and Pakuranga Creek to a point in line with the middle of Cascade Road; thence easterly along Cascade Road, southerly along Botany Road to the East Tamaki-Howick Road, thence north-easterly along that road to its junction with the main Howick and Whitford Road; thence south-easterly along that road to the middle of the Maungamaungaroa Creek; thence down the middle of that creek to its mouth; also the Great Barrier Island and the islands in the Hauraki Gulf.

Board of Trade Notice No. 93—Review of Import Licensing
NOTICE is hereby given-
- That the Board of Trade has received statements of objections to the exemption from import licensing in respect of goods from other than scheduled countries comprised in the following item, namely:
Ex Tariff Item 272: Crayons, all kinds (excluding tailors' chalk).

That persons, firms, or organizations considering themselves or their members likely to be materially affected by the continuance of the import licensing of these goods, and desirous of lodging an objection to such continuance, must do so in writing by sending five copies of the statement of objections addressed to the undersigned so as to reach him on or before 24 August 1954.

That each statement lodged as above should state clearly but concisely the grounds of objection to continuance.

That the Board desires to hear oral representations in regard to the objections and has fixed a hearing for Tuesday, 7 September 1954, at 10.30 a.m., in the Board Room, First Floor, Departmental Building, Stout Street, Wellington.

That those persons, firms, or organizations who have objected in writing to the exemption from licensing, or who in response to this notice, lodge objections in writing to the continuance of licensing, may attend the hearing referred to in 4 above.
