PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the
Schedule hereto.

9·1 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Allotment 248, Hautapu
Parish, situated in Block IX, Cambridge Survey District;
Sections 13 and 22, Block IX, Cambridge Survey District;
and part of the land on D.P. 2009, being part Section 1,
Block X, Cambridge Survey District.
Situated in Block IX, Cambridge Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 35960.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
143404, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the

to the Land Act 1948.

IN exercise of the authority vested in him by section 68 of
the Electoral Act 1927, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby direct that the general roll in
every electoral district shall be closed on Tuesday, the 17th
day of August 1954.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of
August 1954
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
approves of the resolution passed by the Raglan County
Council on the 28th day of June 1954, and set out in the First
Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the proposed road
described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Raglan County Council, being the local authority having
control of the roads in the County of Raglan, by resolution
pursuant to section 125, subsection (3) of the Public Works
Act 1928, hereby authorizes the provision and dedication of
the proposed road, of a less width than 66 ft. but not less than
40 ft., being part Te Akau B No. 26 Block, and parts Sections
5, 6, and 8, situated in Block IX, Awaroa Survey District, and
shown as Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, and Lot 10 on the plan
marked P.W.D. 143135, and thereon coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
THAT proposed road in the South Auckland Land District,
Raglan County, containing by admasurement 11 acres and
34·2 perches, more or less, being part Te Akau B No. 26
Block, and parts Sections 5, 6, and 8, situated in Block IX,
Awaroa Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 143135, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
