Unclaimed Lands—Notice by the Public Trustee Under
the Public Trust Office Act 1908, and its Amendments
To the owner of a half share in the following land (the owners
of the other half share being John McKay Gordon, of
Palmerston North, Solicitor, and Stanley Hodges, of
Bulls, Tea Room Proprietor), that is to say: First, all
that piece of land situate in the Township of Sandon,
Manawatu District, containing 1 rood, being Allotment
No. 86 on the plan of the Town of Sanson, Deposited
Plan No. 13, and being all the land in certificate of title,
Volume 12, folio 92 (Wellington Registry). Secondly,
all that piece of land situate in Block XV, Rangitoto
Survey District, being part of Section A of the Hutt
Small Farm Block, and being also Lot 251 on Deposited
Plan No. 13, and being all the land in certificate of title,
Volume 482, folio 288 (Wellington Registry). Thirdly,
all that piece of land situate in the Town of Sandon,
Manawatu District, containing 1 rood, being Allot-
ment No. 252 on the plan of the Town of Sanson,
Deposited Plan No. 13, and being all the land in
certificate of title, Volume 6, folio 70 (Wellington
Registry).
WHEREAS the registered proprietors of the above-
described land are Hazel Flora Martinac, wife of
Ivan Martinac, late of Palmerston North, Settler, deceased,
as to a one-half share thereof (hereinafter referred to as
the said half share in the said land), and John McKay
Gordon, of Palmerston North, Solicitor, and Stanley Hodges,
of Bulls, Tea Room Proprietor, as to the other half share
thereof; and whereas after due inquiry the owner of the
said half share in the said land cannot be found; and
whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand:
Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner,
within six months from the date of the publication of this
notice in the New Zealand Gazette, to establish to the satis-
faction of the Public Trustee his or her title to the said
half share in the said land, and if he or she fails or neglects
so to do the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said
half share in the said land the powers and authorities granted
to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act 1908 (Part II)
and its amendments.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in Malvern County
(Notice No. Ag. 5679)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and acting
under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for
the purposes of the said Act, the Director-General of Agri-
culture hereby publishes the following special order made by
the Malvern County Council on the 2nd day of July 1954.
SPECIAL ORDER
IN exercise of the power conferred on it by section 3 of the
Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Malvern County Council resolved
by way of special order as follows:
‘‘That all the plants mentioned in the First Schedule of
the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 be declared noxious weeds within
the County of Malvern.’’

Sale of Unclaimed Property
IT is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands
of the Police at Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Gis-
borne, Napier, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Palmerston North,
Wellington, Nelson, Greymouth, Christchurch, Timaru, Dun-
edin, and Invercargill Stations will, if not claimed before
Saturday, 14 August 1954, be sold thereafter by public
auction.
Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be
obtained from the Superintendent or Inspector of Police in
charge of the District.
