A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described
in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road:
23.6 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 13425, being part Maukoro Block;
coloured yellow.
Situated in Block I, Waitoa Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 35534.)
SECOND SCHEDULE
ROAD CLOSED
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 roods
5.8 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Lot 1, D.P. 13425, being
part Maukoro Block; and Section 1, Block V; coloured
green.
Situated in Block I, Waitoa Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 35534.)
All in the South Auckland Land District; as the same
are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
143745, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 14th day of July 1954.

1940, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in
the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order
in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of
the Borough of Takapuna, and be under the control and
management of the Takapuna Borough Council.

Members of the Westland Catchment Board

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control
Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of
August 1949 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
4th day of the same month, at page 1625, appointing six
non-elective members of the Westland Catchment Board by
deleting 'Senior Inspector of Mines, Mines Department,
Greymouth', and substituting 'Inspector of Mines, Mines
Department, Greymouth'.

Declaring Portion of the Te Kawau Farm Settlement Road,

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the North Auckland Land District
commencing on the western side of a public road at the
north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block X, Okaka Survey
District, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction
generally for a distance of approximately 60 chains and
terminating at the westernmost corner of the aforementioned
Section 2. (S.O. Plan 37229.)
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 143788, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and
marked A-B.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Rosebank Road
in the City of Auckland, Subject to a Condition as to
the Building Line

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act 1953 and section 125 of the Public
Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby authorizes the Auckland City Council to permit the
laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft.,
but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no
building or part of a building shall at any time be erected
on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D.
143752, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of
48 ft. from the centre line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District,
City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 30
perches, more or less, being part Lot 3 of a subdivision of
part Allotment 11, Parish of Titirangi.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 143752, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
approves of the resolution passed by the Onehunga Borough
Council on the 1st day of March 1954 and set out in the
First Schedule hereto in so far as it affects the side and
portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto,
subject to the condition that no building or part of a
building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting
the western side of the portion of Catherine Street (described
in the Second Schedule hereto) within a distance of 20 ft.
from the centre line of the said portion of street.
