Lands Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State Forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 7th day of October 1930, and gazetted on the 9th day of that month, are required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest lands and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

PART Sections 6, 12, 20, and 23, Block IV, Waitakere Survey District: Total area, 38 acres, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/97/71c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of July 1954.

Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 8 acres 38 perches, more or less, known as part Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 6407, and being part Muhunoa lB 2B Block, situate in Block IV, Waitohu Survey District, being also part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 214, folio 116 (Wellington Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of July 1954.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Ngakawau

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of July 1954.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 rood 4·8 perches.

Being Lot 3, D.P. 4187, being part Section 3, situated in Block I, Ngakawau Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 119, folio 51 (Nelson Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of July 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 23·1 perches.

Being part Rural Section 162.

Situated in Block I, Poerua Survey District, Westland County. (S.O. 4662.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12900, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Situated in the Borough of Blenheim. (S.O. 4182.)

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12867, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato railway, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street diversion in connection therewith.
