A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road ; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of July 1954.

Additional Land at Frankton Junction Taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato railway.

SCHEDULE

BEING all that parcel of land containing 1 acre 2 roods, more or less, being Lot 2 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 19495, and being portion of Allotment 76 of the Parish of Pukete, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 459, folio 38, Auckland Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of July 1954.

PURSUANT to section 207 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies an Order in Council made on 28 January 1948 and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 5, of 29 January 1948, at page 107, and affecting Ahipoutu and other blocks, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 254 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies an Order in Council made on 24 August 1932, and published in New Zealand Gazette of 1 September 1932, at page 1947, and affecting Te Akau and other blocks, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revoking a Licence Authorizing John Alfred Pothan, of Wairoa, Garage Proprietor, to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity and to Erect Certain Electric Lines

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of July 1954

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 24th day of January 1916 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 27th day of the same month, authorizing Henry Bodley, of Te Pohue, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect certain electric lines, the rights, powers, and privileges under the said Order in Council having been assigned by the said Henry Bodley to Joseph King, of Meeanee, Farmer, and by the said Joseph King to John Alfred Pothan, of Wairoa, Garage Proprietor.
