Street Closed in the City of Dunedin

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 1 acre 3 roods 2·9 perches.

Adjoining Sections 18 to 21 (inclusive), part Section 16, and part Section 22, Wakari Survey District, and part Sections 6 and 7, Block X, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District.

Situated in the City of Dunedin (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 11812.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143700, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of July 1954.

Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Auckland–Hamilton Motorway in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, and Blocks III, IV, and VIII, Drury Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, and Blocks III, IV, and VIII, Drury Survey District (viz., a portion of the Auckland–Hamilton Motorway), shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall effect only that land situated within the limits coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 143667, referred to in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

COMMENCING at a point marked 15 miles 12 chains on the foreshore of the Manukau Harbour, being the point of termination of the middle line of the portion of the Auckland–Hamilton Motorway shown on P.W.D. Plan 139782 (Proclamation 13781), and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 4 miles 28 chains, passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc. (viz., part land on D.P. 9555 (C.T. 335/9); part land on D.P. 1116 (C.T. 744/172); Lot 2, D.P. 14721 (C.T. 331/138); Lot 3, D.P. 14721 (C.T. 329/64); part Allotment E. 11, Opaheke Parish (C.T. 758/284); part Allotment E. 11, Opaheke Parish (C.T. 758/280); Lot 17, D.P. 4963 (C.T. 198/270); Lot 10, D.P. 4963 (C.T. 184/293); Lot 9, D.P. 4963 (C.T. 196/117); Lot 8, D.P. 4963 (C.T. 210/15); part Section 5, Village of Drury (C.T. 768/135); part Sections 4 and 5, Village of Drury (C.T. 768/132); part Section 4, Village of Drury (C.T. 752/149); Allotments 14 (C.T. 137/290), 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 (C.T. 756/47), 24 (no registration), 25, 26 (C.T. 756/48), 27 (C.T. 753/178), 28 (C.T. 756/48), 29 (Deeds Index 14A 31), 44 (C.T. 756/52), 45, 46, 47, and 48 (C.T. 756/48), all of Section 6, Village of Drury; Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Section 2, and Lots 5 and 18 of Section 3, Deeds Plan 35 (C.T. 1077/299); Lot 6 of Section 4 of Lot 36 of Section 5, Deeds Plan 35 (C.T. 768/174); and terminating at a point marked 19 miles 40 chains on the western side of the Auckland–Hamilton State Highway No. 7 approximately 5 chains north of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143667, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Declaring Land Taken, Together With a Right of Way, for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, Together With the Said Right of Way

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was taken together with the right of way over the part coloured blue on certificate of title, Volume 447, folio 9, created by Transfer No. 197958 to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, together with the aforesaid right of way.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of July 1954.
