Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XIV, Clifford Bay Survey District, and Blocks II and VI, Cape Campbell Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land firstly, secondly, and thirdly described in the Schedule hereto held from Her Majesty the Queen by John McKenzie Toms, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 387A (Volume 12, folio 4, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land fourthly and fifthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Patrick Augustine Casey, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 44 (Volume 7, folio 72, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land sixthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Honora Mary Casey, Wife of Patrick Augustine Casey, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 136 (Volume 7, folio 203, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land seventhly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Alan McLennan, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 403 (Volume 12, folio 33, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land eighthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Mabel Druscilla Green, of Seddon, Widow, and Mabel Green, of Kaituna, Spinster, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 404 (Volume 12, folio 16, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land ninthly described in the said Schedule held from Her Majesty the Queen by Albert Victor Badman, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 406 (Volume 11, folio 145, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land tenthly and eleventhly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Graham Ira McNabb, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 399 (Volume 12, folio 11, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land twelfthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Albert Victor Badman, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 119 (Volume 25, folio 201, Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land thirteenthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Alan McLennan, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of miscellaneous Crown lease No. M.93 (Marlborough Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land fourteenthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Charles Frederick Denton, of Seddon, Farmer, under and by virtue of miscellaneous Crown lease No. M.88 (Marlborough Land Registry), are hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of July 1954.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 0·2 perch.

Being Lot 5, D.P. 8847, being part Block 57, Patangata Crown Grant District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 81, folio 20 (Hawke’s Bay Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of July 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 1·49 perches.

Being part Section 819, Town of Wellington.

Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 22966.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142925, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
