Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Blocks
XVI and XVII, Cloudy Bay Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby pro-
claim and declare that the land which is described in the
Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a portion of the
Picton–Hurunui Railway and is not now required for such
purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New
Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be
maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as
other public highways are controlled and maintained by the
said Board.

and thereon coloured yellow.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 207 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim
and declare that the course of the Tuamarina Stream shall
be altered or diverted within the area of land described in
the Schedule hereto.

THOSE portions of Section 64, Picton Suburban Registration
District.
Situated in Block XV, Linkwater Survey District.

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143581,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured orange.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the public domain described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
12th day of July 1954.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the public domain set apart: 16 acres
2 roods 23 perches.
Being Section 33.
Situated in Block XIII, Galatea Survey District, as shown
on a plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, at
Auckland, as No. 29580 (South Auckland Land District).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby set apart for defence purposes; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 12th day of July 1954.

2 acres 2 roods 28·9 perches.

Land subject to the Land Act 1948.
