CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution thereof and from time to time in force.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (d), (e), and (f) of Regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The normal rated pressure of the primary distribution lines shall be 11,000 volts.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 14th day of July 1966.
SCHEDULE

Submarine cable for the supply of electrical energy by the systems of supply hereinbefore described leading from the shores of the Hauraki Gulf at a point between Omana Beach and Maraetai Beach in the County of Manukau, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction across part of the said gulf to a point on the shore at Kaikuku Bay on the southern coast of Waiheke Island, the said cable being more particularly shown by means of a red line on the plan marked S.H.D. 277, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the systems of supply hereinbefore described on and about Waiheke Island situated in the Hauraki Gulf.

Authorizing the Purchase by the Buller Electric Power Board of Certain Electric Works from the Minister of Mines

Pursuant to section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the purchase, on the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement hereinafter referred to, by the Buller Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) of certain electric works, the property of the Minister of Mines (hereinafter referred to as the Minister), as described in an agreement bearing date the 23rd day of June 1954 and made between the Minister of the one part and the Board of the other part, of which agreement a copy has been deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £4,500 by the Hawera Fire Board and Prescribing the Conditions Thereof

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of June 1954
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Hawera Fire Board (hereinafter called the said local authority), being desirous of raising a loan of four thousand five hundred pounds, to be known as Fire Appliance Loan 1954 (hereinafter called the said loan), for the purpose of purchasing a new fire engine, has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act) and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the raising of the said loan:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 11 of the said Act, as set out in section 29 of the Finance Act 1932 (No. 2), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of four thousand five hundred pounds, and in giving such consent hereby determines as follows:

The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall be fifteen years.

The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding four per cent per annum.

The said local authority shall, before raising the said loan or any part thereof, make provision for the repayment thereof by establishing a sinking fund under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, or under such other statutory enactment as may be applicable, and shall thereafter make payments to such sinking fund at intervals of not more than one year at a rate or rates per cent which shall be not less than five pounds three shillings and eightpence, such payments to be made in respect of every part of the said loan for the time being so borrowed and not repaid, the first such payment to be made not later than one year after the first day from which interest to the lender or lenders is computed on the said loan or any part thereof so raised.

The payment of interest and repayment of principal in respect of the said loan shall be made in New Zealand.

No amount payable as either interest or sinking fund in respect of the said loan shall be paid out of loan money.

The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per cent of any amount raised.

No money shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

WHEREAS the Auckland Hospital Board (hereinafter called the said local authority), being desirous of raising a loan of one hundred thousand pounds, to be known as Buildings Purchase Loan 1954 (hereinafter called the said loan), for the purpose of purchasing the Y.M.C.A. building for administrative accommodation, has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Act 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the raising of the said loan:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 11 of the said Act, as set out in section 29 of the Finance Act 1932 (No. 2), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of one hundred thousand pounds, and in giving such consent hereby determines as follows:

The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding four per cent per annum.

The said loan or any part thereof shall be repaid as follows:
(a) By thirty equal payments of two thousand five hundred pounds each, one of such payments to be made at the end of every half-year commencing from the date on which the said loan is raised.
(b) By a payment at the end of the fifteenth year from the date of raising the said loan of an amount of twenty-five thousand pounds.

The payment of interest and repayment of principal in respect of the said loan shall be made in New Zealand.

The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed three-quarters per cent of any amount raised.
