NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Northern District (Auckland Registry), dated the 2nd day of June 1954, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £31,500 to £3,500, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company, as altered, the several particulars required by the above Act, was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies, at Auckland, on the 11th day of June 1954.

All persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 30th day of June 1954, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Wellington City Transport Loan 1953, of £135,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 16th day of June 1954:

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amendments, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, repayment of principal, and other charges on a loan of one hundred and thirty-five thousand pounds (£135,000), to be known as the Wellington City Transport Loan 1953 of £135,000, authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting overhead wiring and incidental work for the Brooklyn trolley bus route, completing trolley bus bodies and providing for contingencies, and refunding to the Tramway Account moneys expended on the provision of a trolley bus service to Karori, the Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ninety-one eight-hundredths of a penny (91/800d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 16th day of June 1954 the Registrar signed an award for the dissolution of the Auckland Waterside Workers' Sick Benefit Society, Register No. 423, held at Auckland, and that such society is thereby dissolved, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having any claim on the funds of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same be set aside accordingly.

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000), authorized to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the Taupo War Memorial Hall, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (1/4d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was made and confirmed by the Taupo Borough Council on the 19th day of May 1954.
