PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land described in the said First Schedule to the drainage and other rights granted by Memorandum of Transfer No. 52017 (Wellington Land Registry), for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of June 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 19 acres 3 roods 0·36 perches.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a cemetery, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of June 1954.
