CORRIGENDUM
IN the New Zealand Gazette No. 27, dated 29 April 1954, page 659, under the heading “Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936”, notice was given of an application having been made by V. A. Thrussell, Waiotira, Northland, for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed outside new garage premises at Waiotira, Northland. This notice is hereby cancelled, and the following substituted therefor:
“R. H. Rogers, R. K. Rogers, and G. R. Barnes, have applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed outside new garage premises at Waiotira, Northland.”
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau on this application should, not later than 24 June 1954, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.

Declaring Land in North Auckland Land District, Vested in the Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
