NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth :

The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1925—Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union
Pursuant to section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1925, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Wellington Radio Traders’ Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 1643, situated at Wellington, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date of this notice.

Pursuant to section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1925, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Wairarapa Master Painters’, Decorators’ and Signwriters’ Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 2083, situated at Masterton, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date of this notice.

Endorsement of Licence Issued Under Cinematograph Operators Licensing Regulations 1938
Pursuant to regulation 23 of the Cinematograph Operators Licensing Regulations 1938, notice is hereby given that the provisional licence No. 3689, issued to Douglas Kelly, Auckland, was endorsed on 14 June 1954 as follows:
ENDORSEMENTS
Nature of Complaint:
That the licensee did fail to observe proper standards of good practice in the following respects:
(a) Permitting a permanent jamming of the lens slide in an open position.
(b) Permitting arc assemblies to be insecurely and impermanently fitted.
(c) Permitting sprocket teeth to become badly worn, hooked, or damaged.
(d) Throwing, or allowing to be thrown, liberal quantities of grease into gear train.
Decision of Cinematograph Film Operators Licensing Board:
That the licensee failed to observe standards of good practice in respect of the matters complained of and that his licence should be endorsed accordingly.
