Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 27 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby amends the Memorandum of Acceptance registered in
the Land Registry Office at Dunedin, under number X. 14232,
exempting portion of the northern side of Pukeko Street in
the Borough of West Harbour from the provisions of section
128 of the Public Works Act 1928, subject to a condition as
to the building line, by cancelling the condition as
to the building line imposed by the said Memorandum of
Acceptance in so far as it affects the land described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 2·2 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 7456, Township of Burkestown, and
being part Section 20, Upper Harbour West District.
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143282,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon bounded by dotted red lines.

for Aircraft

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
September 1953
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits
the Amphibian Airways Limited (hereinafter called the
company, which term shall include its successors or assigns,
unless the context requires a different construction) to use
and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water
mark at Watercress Beach, Paterson Inlet, Half-moon Bay,
Stewart Island, as shown hatched red on plan marked M.D.
9553 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department
at Wellington, for the purpose of the use of a landing site
for aircraft thereon, such licence to be held and enjoyed by
the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions
set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence
Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations
shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The premium payable by the company shall be
five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable three
pounds (£3).
(3) The term of the licence shall extend to the 30th day
of June 1957.

Fixing the Dates and Places of Payment of Land Tax and
Income Tax

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
June 1954
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority
vested in him under the Land and Income Tax Act 1923,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and determines that the respective duties leviable under the
said Act by way of land tax and income tax shall be paid
on the days and dates set forth hereunder:
Land Tax.—For the year of assessment commencing on
the 1st day of April 1954: In one sum on Monday,
the 20th day of September 1954.
Income Tax.—For the year of assessment commencing
on the 1st day of April 1954: In one sum on
Thursday, the 3rd day of February 1955.
And, in further pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent
as aforesaid, His Excellency also determines that the said
duties of land tax and income tax shall be payable at any
office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, or
at any money order post office, and that notice to the fore-
going effect shall be given by the Commissioner of Inland
Revenue accordingly.

Social Security Act 1938—Social Security Charge Payable
by Companies

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
June 1954
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority
vested in him under the Social Security Act 1938 and the
Social Security Charge Regulations 1952, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby orders and determines that
the social security charge payable by any company on its
chargeable income for the income year ended on the 31st
day of March 1954 shall be paid in one sum on Thursday,
the 3rd day of February 1955.
And, in further pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authority as aforesaid, and with the like advice and
consent as aforesaid, His Excellency also determines that
the said social security charge shall be payable at any office
of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, or at
any money order post office, and that notice to the foregoing
effect shall be given by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue
accordingly.
