A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of June 1954.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 6 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access-way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ashburton and be under the control and management of the Ashburton Borough Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the access-way dealt with: 8·5 perches.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of June 1954

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1953 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Taradale Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for a part of its length of less than 66 ft.,
but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of 40 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Borough of Taradale, containing by admeasurement 33 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 3912, and part Lot 1, D.P. 3859, being part Meeanee Suburban Section No. 53. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143434, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring the Monowai Farm Settlement Road in the Hawke’s Bay County to be County Road

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, situated in Block V, Heretaunga Survey District, known as Kawera Road, commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of Okawa Rural Section 17, approximately 25 chains from its south-eastern corner, being also the intersection with an existing public road; thence proceeding southerly generally through the Monowai Farm Settlement for a distance of 1 mile 45 chains measured along the middle of the road and terminating at a point approximately 16 chains south of the northern boundary of Section 1. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143413, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
