A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of additional land taken:

A. R. P.
0 0 6.5 Part road adjoining railway land, being part Section 6; coloured green, edged green.
0 1 8.9 Part road adjoining railway land, being part Section 6; coloured green.

Situated in Block III, Moeraki Survey District, Waihemo County. (S.O. 11823.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12829, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of June 1954.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 25·8 perches.

Being part Town Sections 548 and 549 Napier.

Situated in the City of Napier. (S.O. 2753.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12813, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of June 1954.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waihemo County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood 30 perches.

Being railway land, being part Section 6, Block III, Moeraki Survey District, Waihemo County. (S.O. 11823.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12829, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
