In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the
matter of THE KAURI BREWERY LTD. (in liquidation).

At an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the
above-named company, duly convened and held at the
Dominion Farmers Institute Building, Featherston Street,
Wellington, on Tuesday, the 30th day of March 1954, the
following special resolution was duly passed:

‘‘That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
GEORGE HENRY MORGAN, of Woodville, be and is hereby
appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up’’.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public notice is hereby given that the extra urban planning
schemes for the Waimea County entitled the Waimea
County Council Stoke Riding Extra Urban Planning Scheme
No. 1, the Waimea County Council Stoke Riding Extra Urban
Planning Scheme No. 2, the Waimea County Council Stoke
Riding Extra Urban Planning Scheme No. 3, which were finally
approved by the Town Planning Board on the 28th day of
November 1951, the 3rd day of March 1953, and the 25th day
of September 1953, respectively, pursuant to the provisions of
the Town Planning Act 1926 and the Town Planning Regula-
tions 1927, have, by virtue of section 19 (2) of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953, become operative district schemes
of the County of Waimea for the purposes of the Town
and Country Planning Act 1953 and all regulations made
thereunder.

The schemes may be inspected by the public at the office
of the Waimea County Council, Trafalgar Street, Nelson,
without fee, at any time when the Council’s office is open to
the public.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and the
Counties Act 1920

Notice is hereby given that the Egmont County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts, to execute a certain public work (namely, severances
for improvement of visibility on corners), and for the
purposes of such public work the various lands described in
the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is
hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required
to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County
Clerk of the said Council, situate in Napier Street, Opunake,
and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during
ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-
grounded objections to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections
in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from
the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at
