A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the easement taken by Proclamation No. 4641 (Wellington Land Registry), to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, subject to the aforesaid easement.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 3 acres and 35·22 perches.
Being Section 1091, part Section 1087, Lots 50, 51, and 52, and part Lot 49, D.P. 165, being part Section 1088, and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, and Reserve D.P. 684, being Section 1089, Town of Wellington.

Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 23074.)

The Mount Roskill Grammar School Board of Governors Order 1954

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Education Act 1914, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Mount Roskill Grammar School Board of Governors Order 1954.

  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of the Mount Roskill Grammar School prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914 is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board:

(b) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school:

(c) Two members, of whom one shall be a woman, appointed by the Governor-General:

(d) The Mayor of the Borough of Mount Roskill:

(e) One member appointed by the Auckland University College Council:

(f) One member appointed by the Old Pupils’ Association of the school if the Board decides that such an appointment should be made:

(g) One additional member to be appointed by the Board itself if it thinks fit to make the appointment.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Pikiahu, Ngati Waewae, Ngati Tuwharetoa, Ngati Matakore, Ngati Rangatahi, Ngati Maniapoto, Ngati Kahungunu, and Ngati Uenuku tribes as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a meeting place.
