Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not
Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare
the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown
land: 23·85 perches.
Being Lot 9, D.P. 7452, being part Section 23, and being
part of the land comprised and described in certificates
of title, Volume 86, folio 51, and Volume 87, folio 53
(Taranaki Land Registry).
Situated in Block I, Ngaere Survey District (Borough
of Stratford).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 20th day of May 1954.

and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 31st day of May 1954.

General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for
the use, convenience, and enjoyment of an aerodrome (aeradio
station), is hereby set apart for post-and-telegraph purposes
(transmitter station); and I also declare that this Proclama-
tion shall take effect on and after the 31st day of May 1954.

Being part Reserve 47, Town of Greymouth, and being the
whole of the land in Proclamation No. 579 (Westland

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120563,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured red.

ington, and thereon coloured blue.
