Timaru .. Ashburton .. Beer, bottled, packed, or in bulk 26s. 9d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 5 tons per four-wheeled wagon, n.o.s., and 6 tons per Lc wagon.
Makareao .. Burnside .. Limestone .. 16s. 5d. per ton.
St. Leonard’s, Burnside, and intermediate stations Class N, ex-ship .. 16s. per ton, including handling at ship’s side. Minimum load per wagon as per reg. 77, General Scale of Charges. Any less quantity will be charged at such minimum or on actual weight at 18s. 1d. per ton.
Dunedin .. Classes C, D, and G, ex-ship 17s. 5d. per ton including handling at ship’s side. The charges will be computed in accordance with reg. 127, General Scale of Charges. Small lots will be charged as follows:

Dunedin Blenheim .. Beer in bulk .. 127s. 2d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 5 tons per consignment. Owners to load and unload.
Picton .. Beer in bulk .. 127s. 2d. per ton. Owners to load and unload.
Roxburgh .. Empty tins for canning jam and fruit pulp 63s. 5d. per ton.
Burnside .. Islington .. Pelts .. 102s. 11d. per day. Minimum quantity, 6 tons per consignment. Owners to load and unload.
  • Tarpaulins to be charged for at the rates provided in the General Scale of Charges. Consignor will require to certify on the consignment note as to the contents of each wagon carried under these provisions.
