Christchurch Stations on the South Island Main Line and Branches Ice-cream conveyed by express or passenger trains when accommodation is available in the Guards’ - vans of such trains Classified C rate.
Stations Christchurch, Hornby, Papanui inclusive Any station on the South Island Main Line and Branches Impregnated or kiln-dried timber (previously conveyed by rail from West Coast stations to stations Christchurch, Hornby, or Papanui inclusive) Class K less 20 per cent.
Addington Classes C and D, ex-ship at Lyttelton for Addington, not required to be sorted at Christchurch 7s. per ton. Minimum quantity, 3 tons per consignment.
Papanui, for private sidings Classes C and D, ex-ship at Lyttelton 7s. 9d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 30 cwt. per consignment.
Christchurch Culverden Classes C, D, E, and E plus 50 per cent (excepting explosives, benzine, and similar oils in owner’s tank-wagons). Owner’s risk £6 17s. 6d. per four-wheeled wagon containing not more than 5 tons. Any tonnage in excess of 5 tons per four-wheeled wagon will be charged at the rate of 27s. 6d. per ton. Owners to load and unload. Minimum, five four-wheeled wagons per week. Participation in this rate is subject to the conclusion of a special agreement with the Department.
Stations Christchurch, Hornby, Papanui inclusive Waiau Benzine, kerosene, fuel oil, lubricating oils and greases, packed. Owners’ risk 54s. 4d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 6 tons per consignment. Owners to load and unload.
Christchurch Kaikoura Classes C, D, E, and E plus 50 per cent (excepting explosives, benzine, kerosene, and similar oils in owner’s tank wagons). Owner’s risk 64s. per ton. Minimum quantities, 4 tons per four-wheeled wagon and 36 tons per four-weekly period, including tonnage railed in the reverse direction. Owners to load and unload. Participation in this rate is subject to the conclusion of a special agreement with the Department.
Addington Kaikoura Benzine, kerosene, fuel oil, lubricating oils, and greases, packed. Owner’s risk 64s. per ton. Minimum quantities, 4 tons per four-wheeled wagon and 36 tons per four-weekly period, including tonnage railed in the reverse direction. Owners to load and unload. Participation in this rate is subject to the conclusion of a special agreement with the Department.
Stations Christchurch, Hornby, Papanui inclusive Blenheim Classes C and D as approved by the Department. Owner’s risk 108s. per ton. Minimum quantity (including tonnage railed in the reverse direction) 10 tons per week and 500 tons per annum. Owners to load and unload.
Stations, Christchurch, Hornby, Papanui inclusive Lake Road, Irwell, Doyleston, Leeston Benzine, kerosene, fuel oil, lubricating oils and greases, packed. Owner’s risk 24s. 9d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 4 tons per consignment. Owners to load and unload.
Southbridge, Coalgate Benzine, kerosene, fuel oil, lubricating oils, and greases, packed. Owner’s risk 29s. 8d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 4 tons per consignment. Owners to load and unload.
