Lyttelton Christchurch Goods ex-ship of Classes C, D, and G, also Classes C, D, and G, subject to a percentage or other reduction, for stations beyond Christchurch 14s. 6d. per ton, including handling at ship's side and sorting at Christchurch. The charges will be computed in accordance with reg. 127, General Scale of Charges. From Christchurch to destination the charges will be computed on actual weight at the classified or local rate as the case may be. Small lots will be computed on the actual weight as per reg. 71, General Scale of Charges, from Lyttelton to destination station.
Christchurch Goods ex-ship of Classes E plus 25 per cent and E plus 50 per cent (except cement packed in paper bags) 16s. per ton, including handling at ship's side.
Cement (packed in paper bags) ex-ship 19s. 8d. per ton, including handling at ship's side.
Cement (packed in paper bags) ex-ship for stations beyond Christchurch, except stations Styx, Addington, Hornby, inclusive 12s. per ton, including handling at ship's side. From Christchurch to destination the charges will be computed at the classified rate.
Fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and nuts (ex-ship) grown and packed in New Zealand (including Cook Islands or Niue) 15s. 3d. per ton, including handling at ship's side and sorting at Christchurch.
Styx, Islington, Woolston, and intermediate stations Class N, ex-ship 16s. per ton, including handling at ship's side. Minimum load per wagon as per reg. 77, General Scale of Charges. Any less quantity will be charged at such minimum or on actual weight at 18s. 1d. per ton.
Stations Styx, Addington, Hornby inclusive Cement (packed in paper bags) ex-ship 19s. 8d. per ton, including handling at ship's side.
Addington Fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and nuts (ex-ship) grown and packed in New Zealand (including Cook Islands or Niue) 15s. 3d. per ton, including handling at ship's side and sorting at Christchurch.
Firestone Tyre and Rubber Co.'s private siding at Papanui Classes C and D, direct ex-ship (not requiring to be sorted at Christchurch) 18s. 3d. per ton including handling at ship's side. Charges to be computed on measurement at 40 cubic feet per ton, or on actual weight, whichever is greater.
Dunedin Imported fruit or vegetables 103s. per ton. Minimum quantity, 10 tons per consignment.
Invercargill Imported fruit or vegetables 128s. 3d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 5 tons per consignment.
