In the matter of the Companies Act 1933 and of CHRISTCHURCH RECORDINGS LIMITED (in voluntary liquidation).

THE liquidator of Christchurch Recordings Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 31st day of May 1954 as the day on or before which the creditors of the Company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

THE following special resolution, dated 28 April 1954, has been passed under the provision of section 300 of the Companies Act 1933 by all the members of the above-named company:

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL


PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments, and the Counties Act 1920 and amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work (namely, the construction and formation of a public road passing through or adjoining the parcel of land referred to hereunder and situated in the Birkenhead Riding of the County of Waitemata), and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council situated at the Council Chambers, 1 Princes Street, Auckland, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objection in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken: 1 acre and 14.2 perches.
Part Allotment 6, Okura Parish; coloured yellow.
Being situated in Block XVI, Waiwera Survey District, and in the Land District of North Auckland.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

Notice Convening Final Meeting Pursuant to Section 232 of the Companies Act 1933

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act 1933, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held in the Board Room at the registered office of the company, 90 Crawford Street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 31st day of May 1954, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amendments, the Waiapu County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of Β£8,000, authorized to be raised by the said Waiapu County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for workers' dwellings, the said Waiapu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five one hundred and twenty-eighths of a penny (5/128d.) in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the County of Waiapu; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the lst day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above is a certified copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Waiapu County Council held on the 28th day of April 1954.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 44 of the Rating Act 1925, I hereby give notice that a poll of ratepayers of the County of Waimea was taken on the 3lst day of October 1953, on the proposal to adopt the system of rating on unimproved value in the said county, and that the number of votes for and against the proposal was as follows:

(in voluntary liquidation) will be held at the office of the liquidator, 138 Stuart Street, Dunedin, on Thursday, 3 June 1954, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of laying before such meeting the liquidator's accounts showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and to offer any explanation thereof which may be required, and for the purpose of passing an extraordinary resolution as to the disposal of the books, accounts, and documents of the company as provided by section 275 of the said Act.
